Job Description
We are looking for a Barista to help assist with the daily operations of our new flagship store and coffee shop (called Double Black) in San Francisco, CA.
As a barista you will act as the go-to service employee for the store. That includes, but is not limited to, coffee + baked good preparation, maintenance and cleaning, restocking, and retail good help.
Double Black will act as a community focal point in the Cole Valley neighborhood. We want to provide customer service that goes above and beyond, generating strong customer loyalty. The barista position will be an integral part to this success.
You Will
- Work alongside the Lead Barista and General Manager to ensure daily operations success
- Maintain and polish drink preparation procedures
- Ensure a clean and organized environment for both customer benefit, but also that of other employees
- Uphold our hospitality and service goals
You Are
- A problem solver, working in a fast paced environment requires you to be quick on your feet and able to keep a level head
- Hospitality oriented, you will be the face of the Yardsale brand and a key contributor to the neighborhood community
- A team player willing to work together to achieve a common goal
- Coffee crazed, our drink offerings will be a focal point at Double Black
Must-Haves
- Coffee knowledge and barista experience
- Strong willingness to learn and lean in depending on the company’s needs
- Live in San Francisco and be available to work onsite at our Cole Valley, SF store
- Available during weekends
- A love for the outdoors, adventure, and travel

- Pay: $21/hr + tips pooled
