Last spring, after wrapping up our first winter in business, we put our heads down all summer as we worked on product development for our second season. We re-emerged in October and launched our new collection but completely forgot to share any updates throughout the process. And there’s no fun in that! This year, we’re opening our front door so you can come into The Backyard.

So this year, we’re opening our front door so you can come into The Backyard.

As we prep to release our first non-ski product later this summer (!), we’re busy working on a fully new website, new bags, new poles, apparel, and much more.

Think of The Backyard as a deep dive into fun things we’ve done in the past, a preview for what’s to come, and a way to get involved with all of the decisions that will shape the future of Yardsale. It’s like Close Friends, but better.

You can count on a new edition every other week, delivered straight to your inbox. We have some big announcements coming up, like we miiight be opening a retail store in our favorite neighborhood in San Francisco, there might be some new Day Bag colors coming soon, and we might have some fun new product personalization options coming this winter.

We also just wrapped up a monthlong R&D trip to Asia and have some fun behind the scenes content on how our products get made. (More on that soon.)
